Can a Locksmith Make a Car Key Without the Original?

What “all keys lost” service means
All-keys-lost work is different from copying a working key. The locksmith first identifies the correct key, blade, transponder or smart-key system. The mechanical key may need to be cut from an authorized key code or decoded from the vehicle. The electronic portion then has to be registered so the immobilizer recognizes it.
